La Vergne is close enough to the yard that a site visit is a short drive, and it is one of the corridors where we work most consistently. The work splits into two distinct types.

Warehouse and distribution slabs. Floor slabs that carry racking, forklifts and constant point loading are judged on flatness and joint layout, not on finish texture. Getting joint spacing wrong on an industrial floor shows up as spalled edges under wheel traffic within a couple of years. Specification comes before forming, and we work to the drawings rather than to habit.

Residential on former farmland. Much of La Vergne residential growth happened on ground that was agricultural, then graded and filled for subdivisions. Fill placed during development keeps consolidating for years. Concrete poured over fill that is still settling cracks on a schedule that has nothing to do with the mix design. We assess the sub-base before quoting.

Working around an operating business. Commercial pours here usually cannot shut the site down. We phase the work, stage access, and pour in sections so the business keeps running. That gets planned before the first truck is booked, not on the day.
